Karl, our brewer, has won scores of CAMRA awards and three of his beers were given Gold Silver and Bronze in the 2021 SIBA awards. What he doesn’t know about making great beer isn’t worth knowing.

Our core business is cask beer, most of our output is available in keg – plus the “core four” LBC beers are available in bottle, filled on-site, while we’ve recently started to can our craft range.

We are “SALSA +beer” certified, meaning you can have total confidence in our beers being made to the highest standards and quality, and we proudly use UK malted barley as the base for our brews alongside the best hops from all over the world.

He has instigated a policy of “permanent revolution” to the brewing processes and recipes insofar as we never rest on our laurels, and feel there are always improvements to be made, however minor, to the beers to get them to be the very best we can.
